Autocharge
The charger knows the car.
You just plug in.
No apps, no cards and no keys. Charging starts by itself and lands on the right car.

How Autocharge works
Autocharge uses an identity the car itself sends over the charging cable. The charger checks it against your registry and charges, or declines, if the car is unknown. Lost and stolen access cards become a thing of the past, and so does card misuse.
You plug in
No app, no card, no key. Just the cable into the car.
The charger knows the car
Autocharge reads the car's identity the moment you plug in, and charging starts on its own.
Billed to the right party
Every session is booked to the car that charged, and shows up in your overview right away.
A car without Autocharge support? No problem, we register it on a regular charging card, and both work side by side on the same charger.
Who is it for?

Housing associations
Shared chargers where each resident pays for their own use. The association is reimbursed every month, by credit note, for the electricity drawn from the common meter.
- Fair split between residents
- Monthly settlement to the association
- Residents see their own usage in the portal

Companies and institutions
Your fleet charges itself. No card inventory and no cards being passed around, the car itself is the credential.
- Automatic charging for the whole fleet
- Usage by vehicle and period
- Reports in CSV, Excel and PDF

Homes
A home charger that just works. We handle installation and operation; you see your usage any time.
- Installation and management
- Charging history and cost in one place
- No monthly app subscription
The chargers we install
Both are AC chargers with a Type 2 outlet and both speak OCPP to our platform, so the charging history and the settlement look the same whichever you choose. Autocharge is live on the CTEK stations today; DEFA adds it during this year.

Chargestorm Connected 3 and 3i
Autocharge available today
A dual station for shared parking. One or two outlets, up to 22 kW each, with built-in load balancing that splits the power between them so the supply is never overdrawn.

- One or two Type 2 outlets
- 32 A, single or three phase
- MID-certified meter and type B RCD
- IP54 and IK10, rated -30 to +50 °C

DEFA Power S
Autocharge coming this year

- Type 2 with a fixed 6 m cable
- Up to 22 kW, 6 to 32 A
- Wi-Fi, Ethernet and 4G
- IP55 and IK10, MID-certified meter
We connect the chargers you already have
Then you may not need new ones. CTEK and DEFA chargers that speak OCPP we connect straight to our platform, and from then on charging is recorded, settled and billed just as on a new charger. A large number of chargers are already connected to our platform. Another make? Get in touch and we will look at it.
Need a charger?
The chargers are sold by our partner, Sér Tækni ehf., which sells CTEK and DEFA at ser.is. A charger bought there we connect to our platform.
No overload on the supply
A few cars get full power. When more plug in, the chargers share the power between them, so the total never exceeds what the supply can take and nothing trips. Nobody queues: everyone charges, just a little slower at peak times.
The CTEK chargers do this among themselves on site (NANOGRID), so load management keeps working even if the internet drops.
No app, just a website that works on every device
Instead of forcing everyone to install yet another app, everything lives on one website that opens on your phone, tablet and computer: charging history, cost, chargers in real time and downloadable reports. Supervisors see their location's chargers and usage, and main supervisors also see the full charging history: which card or car charged, where and when.
Pricing
We offer AC chargers for regular EV charging, up to 22 kW, ideal wherever cars are parked overnight or through the day, whether at home, at the workplace or in an apartment building. For companies and larger users we also offer DC fast chargers, where cars need to get back on the road quickly.
The price depends on the installation and the arrangement. For housing associations, Hladdu sells the electricity to users in its own name and each month pays the association back, by credit note, for what charging drew from the shared meter.
No two projects are the same. The number of parking spaces, the electrical supply, access to power and the need for load management all shape the solution and the cost.

Get a quoteHow users pay
A monthly invoice
The month's charging is settled afterwards by metered use, on an electronic invoice with a claim in your online bank.
Paying by card
The invoice carries a payment link, and you can save a card in My charging. A saved card is never charged on a schedule, only for an issued invoice.
Visitors pay on the spot
A visitor scans the QR code on the charger, pays by card and charges, with no account and no app. Whatever is not used is refunded.
What we take care of
The association neither tracks usage nor collects payment. We handle everything from the supply to the settlement, and for companies staff cars are registered to the company.
The supply and the load
We assess what the supply can take and set up load management to match.
Installation and connection
We install the chargers and connect them to our platform.
Cars, cards and payers
We register the cars for Autocharge and the cards to the right payers, and residents get access to My charging.
Billing and settlement
We bill the users and settle with the association every month by credit note. The board never has to collect anything.
Monitoring and support
We monitor the chargers, get an alert if one goes offline and answer users by phone and email.
Contact us
Tell us about your challenges, the type of building, how many spaces and whether electrical infrastructure is in place, and we'll propose the right solution.
