Hladdu.is on your phone

There is no app in the App Store or Play Store. You add Hladdu.is (Mínar hleðslur) to your phone's home screen, and it opens full screen, without the browser's address bar, with its own icon.

iPhone and iPad

It's easiest to do this in Safari.

  1. Open portal.hladdu.is/my in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow): it's at the bottom of Safari on iPhone, at the top on iPad.
  3. Choose "Add to Home Screen".
  4. Tap "Add".

The icon "Mínar hleðslur" appears on the home screen. Open it from there and sign in: enter your email, tap „Senda innskráningarhlekk“ (Send sign-in link), then enter the code into Hladdu.is on your home screen. The link in the email opens Safari, not Hladdu.is on your home screen, so use the code.

Android

  1. Open portal.hladdu.is/my in Chrome.
  2. If Chrome offers an install prompt at the bottom of the screen, take it.
  3. If that option does not appear, tap the three dots top right and choose "Install app" (Setja upp forrit) or "Add to Home screen" (Bæta við heimaskjá).
  4. Tap "Install" (Setja upp).

Sign in as you would in the browser: both the link in the email and the 6-digit code work.

What you can do on your phone

Everything the web portal can do, you can do on your phone too.

Supervisors of a charging location and charger owners can, on stations directly connected to Hladdu, start and stop a charge, release a cable, use the „Halda kapli læstum í stöðinni (líka utan hleðslu)“ switch (Keep cable locked in the station, also when idle), take a station out of service and back, restart it, and see who is charging.

Residents with a registered card see their own charging history and cards.

Files (CSV, Excel and PDF) can be downloaded on your phone too.
